July feels big!
My next show is coming together...
After showing at Galeria no Porto in Maputo and Centro Cultural Mozambique-Germany (Goethe), I had to take a sec and breathe deep.
It’s been amazingly vulnerable to share my work with the world - humbling indeed. I’ve had some gallery rejections and a spate of critical feedback I’ve got to incorporate at a deep level. Artwork is heart work, so I’m grateful to find my visual voice here.

On July 17, I’m launching my next show at the Nedbank Business Lounge in Maputo. Come by if you’re in town!
Last, I’m heading to the U.S. for an artist residency. This allows me to bring my unique works to collectors for the first time. I am opening 5 commissions slots to ensure everything I create finds the perfect home. If you’re interested, please email nafeesah@nafeesahallen.com for pricing and photo selection (I’m open to accepting a collector’s own vintage photos as a base).
